Greenwood’s Kickers Restaurant brings on the spice

At the end of a commercial strip off of Greenwood’s Main Street, Kickers occupies a little stand-alone building close enough to the railroad tracks that the place almost rattles when a train whistles by. Families and couples fill the bare tables and the red-vinyl booths, while regulars perch on counter seats overlooking the open grill.
