Camden’s Bloomsbury Inn is an elegant journey to the 19th century


In a town known for its rich history, Bloomsbury is the ideal place to stay, especially for a quiet, post-holiday getaway. The two-story, white manor dates to 1849, the year that wealthy plantation owner Colonel James Chestnut and his wife Mary built Bloomsbury as a townhome for their daughter, Sally. Set off by two acres of live oaks, camellias, and azaleas, the house takes its name from Mary’s childhood home in Trenton, New Jersey.
