Rita Santana helps underprivileged girls sample the finer things

Rita Santana didn’t grow up in a prim and proper home, but etiquette always intrigued her. So seven years ago she attended the American School of Protocol in Atlanta, an intensive etiquette certification course. Among the obscure to-dos that Rita learned was that salt and pepper should always be passed together. “That’s definitely one that I never knew,” says the Florida native. “It’s like a little married couple.”
